Lava fibre sheets are multi-layered phenolic laminate boards specifically designed for CNC engraving applications. Each sheet consists of two or more layers of contrasting colours bonded together — when the CNC router engraves through the top layer, the underlying colour is revealed, creating high-contrast, durable text and graphics without any paint or infill.
The material machines cleanly on any CNC router using standard carbide bits, producing sharp edges and fine detail. It's self-coloured throughout each layer, so the engraving never fades or wears away. The sheets are weather-resistant, chemical-resistant and UV-stable, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Available in standard sheet sizes with various colour combinations including black/white, black/yellow, black/red, blue/white, green/white and more. Custom colours can be arranged for bulk orders.
